Logo and footer image not showing email shipped

Hello,

I have a problem with the email notification to customer when you change status to shipped. The logo and footer images does not show. It shows in all the other notifications. In the admin section when I click on 'yes' to notify customer and scroll down, the logo and footer is there but it does not come through in the email. Very strange considering it comes through for all others.

Any idea what can be the issue?

Hi,

Please give us more details on how you added your logo in the emails.
What code do you have edited/added ? Where do you have added the image ?

The logo should indeed be displayed every time, the status should not affect that.

This is how I added the logo:

For the footer:

				<img class="w600" src="{VAR:LIVE_SITE}/media/com_hikashop/images/mail/footer_black.png" border="0" alt="--" />
			</td>

It works for all email notifications but the shipped email.

Hi,

There is no "shipped email" in HikaShop, please explain us how you send that email.
It might be the way that you send the email which is different and might not be appropriate to your email modification.

Hello,

I know, I just change status to 'shipped' and send notification, that is why I think it is strange that it does not come through in the email as the other notifications comes through with logo and footer images.

Hi,

I go to Orders, in order status I select 'shipped' in drop down menu. I set 'notify customer' to 'yes'. When I scroll down the logo and footer image is showing, see attached image. But the email that comes through is missing the logo and footer image as per attached.

Hi,

Please change the order status while editing the order ; not in the order listing.
When you change the order status in the order page ; you can check a little box to notify the customer.
At this moment you won't have the possibility to edit the mail content but the content will be correct and not modified by anything to provide bad links.

Doing it that way fixed the issue :) .

Will this be fixed in future release? Since it is available in the drop down menu, you assume it should work.

Hi,

The problem is that we can't fix anything in our side.
When you use the dropdown it opens a popup and it show you the email content. Like you can see, the images are displayed fine in your editor (managed by Joomla) but once sent, the images links are not working.
It means that your editor removed the absolute links (containing the domain name) from some of the images.
So it's not something related to HikaShop or the content of the email ; but to the editor and the modifications of the email content.

Just strange it removes it only from the 'shipped' email. It's all good, it is working by sending it from the order page.
