How Customer Receive the Download Link?

Hi,

On this product page, the customer does not receive a download link after the purchase. There is already a file that i uploaded to the product.

So, how does it work and how do I send the downloadable product to the customer?

Hi,

The product page just display the free downloads.
The customer has to display the corresponding order to see the attached (non free) downloads.
Otherwise, with your HikaShop Business ; you can activate the "download" section in the user control panel ; where the customer can see all of their available downloads.

How do the customer display the corresponding order? Can elaborate?

So no emails with files will be sent to the client?

Hi,

You can create a menu item of the type hikashop user control panel and the customers will be able to access their orders listing with a link to each download when editing the orders.
Of course, they'll also automatically receive an email with the link to the download once the order is confirmed (payment is received).
If such email is not received, it could be that orders are not confirmed automatically. So make sure that orders are confirmed on the orders listing. If that's not the case, I would recommend to follow this documentation:

That will allow you to understand why orders are not confirmed.

If on the other end the orders are confirmed but you're not getting the emails, then there is an issue with either the email settings of the Joomla configuration or of the HikaShop configuration and you should check them with your system administrator or hosting company.
