-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.29
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : 46.0.2490.71

When a customer make an order, administrator can see the order in Hikashop's back end.
But there is no order confirmation email being sent to the customer and vendor.

This is a problem that started to occur in this week.
Beside, another strange thing was that some other Hikashop e-commerce website I built also encounter the same problem recently.

How can I correct this?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,

First ; you need to check that your emails are right published and then check your PHP error log.
If you have some PHP Fatal error during one email notification ; it could explain that the email (and the next emails) is not sent.

Hi,

The notification email to the customer should be automatic when a vendor change the order status and the main order is also changing.
If there are several vendors (several subsale) and the main order status does not change ; the mail won't be sent.

what do you mean by "the main order is also changing"? as I understood that only vendor change the order status as confirmed, then email is sent.

Hi,

Please read that documentation page for the explanation on "sub orders"

Each time a customer made an order, HikaMarket will create what we call sub-orders.
A sub-order is a copy of the order but for a specific vendor. It will only contain the vendor's products.
Thanks to these sub-orders, vendor can't see the full main order ; We can know the total of the vendor's products and the vendor total.
The vendor total is the full sub-order total minus the vendor fees. It is what you will have to pay to the vendor.

I read above, and still no idea why email not sent. the vendor confirmed the order, and from backend order page, admin also see order confirmed.

The notification email to the customer should be automatic when a vendor change the order status and the main order is also changing.

anything else the vendor or admin needs to do in order to have the email sent out?

Hi,

Once again, no.

The customer will notify only when the main order is modified.
If a sub order is modified, no email will be sent.

You mean after vendor confirmed in front end, admin needs to confirm again? How exactly the main order is modified?

Can you tell me the workflow for manually confirming an order?

Hi,

I'm asking you since (almost) the beginning of that thread more details about your configuration.
But if you don't want to share it I don't know how I can help you.

The notification email to the customer should be automatic when a vendor change the order status and the main order is also changing.
If there are several vendors (several subsale) and the main order status does not change ; the mail won't be sent.

There is no magic in HikaMarket just logic !
It's not because one single vendor say that his order is shipped that the all content of the order is shipped.
Because the vendor might not have the all content of the order in is sub order.

Do you get the point ?
