-- HikaShop version -- : HikaShop Business: 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.28
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

I previously had hikashop (and the email) working under the following configuration:

-- HikaShop version -- : HikaShop Business: 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.28
-- PHP version -- : 5.2.11

since the migration to the new server (including email server) and php version 5.4 28, the email notification stopped working. I the upgraded to Hikashop Business 2.6.0 and Joomla 3.4.5 in the hope that the problem would be fixed.... it didn't. The updates needed to happen anyway.

So after two days I get a message from my email server that the emails could not be delivered to address:
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (where mydomain is my domain name).
So both the emails to the client and the emails to the shop admin are being sent it seems including the www in the email address.

Sending emails from AcyMailing works successfully. I don't have any problem emailing from within the Joomla system.

When sending an email from Hikahop notification system the address is correct as shown below (the email addresses have been censored in the interest of privacy). These email addresses are correct and do not include the www in the email address. It seems to be going wrong somewhere after this step. Any ideas??

Thanks in advance

Susan

Hi,

You need to check the settings of the Emails section of the HikaShop configuration.
Make sure that they are configured similarly to the settings of the AcyMailing configuration (similar settings should be available there). Hopefully, that will be enough.

No, I'm afraid that isn't it. I've checked the settings and all the email addresses are correct.
Anymore ideas I could try?

could it maybe have something to do with Server current URL mode in Advance Settings? I now have it on REQUEST_URI.

Hi,

No, that wouldn't change anything for the emails.
Maybe you should check your email server error logs ? That might provide a clearer error message as to why the emails couldn't be sent ?
On HikaShop's end, we send the emails the same way Joomla does and we use the same email address, so there is no reason to have Joomla's to work and not HikaShop's.
