Email orders not being received

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 47

I have set up the email address for orders in Hikashop > configuration > emails, but these orders are not being received by the client.

They do receive normal emails to address. Where else do I need to look?

Hi,

Which orders are you talking about, the order creation / notification ones ?
If it is, please check via our menu System > Emails that these emails are enabled.

Please give us more informations about which emails and when they must be sent.
We are using the Joomla email system, so if the Joomla emails are sent, ours should be sent too.

These are the order creations. Once a client places an order and gets this message:
Your order is now complete.
Your quotation / invoice will be forwarded to you shortly.
Do not forget to include the order number ( U18 ) in the comments of the bank transfer so that we can match it to your order.
Thank you for your purchase.

The order does not arrive at the email address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

I have set it up in Hikashop configuration > Emails in the following areas:
From Address
Reply-to Address
Payment notifications email address
Order creation admin notifications email address

And I also set it up in Joomla > Global configuration > Server > Mail settings

Hi,

In HikaShop ; there is now a "email log" plugin which log the emails which are sent by HikaShop.
You can see to activate that plugin and you will see the logged emails in the interface.

That plugin has been improved in HikaShop 2.6.1 with new settings in order to purge the old emails after a defined period of days.

What I have also noticed : the email address used in 'Global Configuration > Server' need to be different than the one used in Hikashop > Configuration > Main > Emails.
