Review order and then tell customer order price

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.5
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.5

Hi,

I want to add the following feature in my website:

1) User adds product in his cart
2) Place the order
3) Admin reviews the cart item and then tell the customer its price
4) User can negotiate with the admin about the prices as well and then finally pay for the amount

Is this possible to achieve in Hikashop? and how?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible ; but not with HikaShop 3.5 because that version does not exist (yet).

You have the setting "Payment of orders not paid immediately"

You can use plugins like "collect on delivery" to create order to put that orders with a special order status.
In the backend, the admin can modify the order and change the order status.
He can also change the payment method.

With the setting and correct configuration of the order status, the customer can pay the unpaid order with the payment method that the admin selected.

Sorry my bad for version.Typo! :)

And by doing the steps you mentioned, will the user be able to see the total price of the cart w/o paying for it?

And after negotiation with admin about the prices, user must be able to pay then the new bargained amount.

Hi,

Yes, all the informations will be displayed as a normal checkout. It is just that he will not be able to pay directly the order.
And after negociation, the admin can edit the order and set the new amount and change the payment method to allow the customer to pay this order.
