Good morning
I tried to configure the parameters of files to activate the ability to download photos purchased, I configured so that if the order status is "sent" should enable downloading and the customer receive an email with the link to download the photos. I followed the instructions in your tutorial activating the dowload area but not working. Where can I find step by step instructions for configuring the most?
Thank you

Hi,

You have settings for the download, like "valid order statuses for download".

what I had already done, but still does not work, it is the reason why I asked you a step by step tutorial.
Besides that you have a more comprehensive tutorial

Hi,

Ok so your orders need to be with the order status "Ordine spedito" to allow the customer to download the "private" product files.
And would it be possible to know what does your orders have for their order status ?
Can you see some files to download when you edit the order in the backend ?
Do you see these same files in the front-end when displaying the order (with the customer) ?
Did you activated the "download" section ?
What can you see in that section (with the customer) ?

Problem: I do not speak English so I have to use the Google service, then with the due limitations in terms of comprehensibility, if I send you the access data you can see if everything is correct?

Hello,
When I try to login into your website's back-end, I'm facing a blank page so I can't directly test it .
So can you answer to these questions :

And would it be possible to know what does your orders have for their order status ?
Can you see some files to download when you edit the order in the backend ?
Do you see these same files in the front-end when displaying the order (with the customer) ?
Did you activated the "download" section ?
What can you see in that section (with the customer) ?

Thanks.

Hi,

We still don't have useful information to answer you.
We're still not able to access your backend.

Is the problem that you don't receive any email when you change the order status to "shipped", or is the problem that in the email that you receive, you don't have the links ?
In the first case, could you make sure that you check the "notify user" checkbox when changing the status of the order ?
In the second case, can you provide a screenshot of the email and a screenshot of the settings of the product in the corresponding order ?

Hi,

Here is the error we get when we log on your website backend:
take.ms/rDcNB
Maybe you have some kind of security extension preventing others from accessing your backend ?

I have no idea what that is, I gave the link also to my two other trusted friends and gain access, do not understand what it may be. Maybe because I was connected too, I try to disconnect myself.

Hi,

It's still not working on our end.
Maybe you allowed only Italian IP addresses or something like that ?

I enclose the response of the hosting service, it should now be solved the problem of access: we inform you that you have activated the restrictions for connections from some foreign countries with regard to access backend site in joomla! hosted with us because of numerous attacks bruteforce massive at our domains, so you can sometimes experience a slowdown in the use of the backend of the site.

At the moment we have taken steps to enable the mode https on his domain with which should no longer experience the problem, in this case you can then access the backend of your site only by the protocol (only for the administrator) and not via HTTP protocol :

gioprova.joomlahost.it/administrator

obviously not having the certificate exclusively dedicated to this domain the first time the browser will ask you to insert the certificate as a permanent exception, proceed well with the directions on the screen without any problems.

Hi,

I was now able to access your backend.

When I see your screenshots, I have a weird impression that there is something missing.
For example ; in your screenshot for the order in the backend ; I do not see the "files" column.. That column indicate that your product have files available for download.

Like that (It's an old older in one of my test website ; but it is just to illustrate) :
pasteboard.co/1h8ydW91.png

So, I went and checked the product of your screenshot:
take.ms/CLLzY
I've also checked the variant that you have ordered in your order:
take.ms/3t2KZ
So as you can see on both screenshots, neither the product not the variant that you purchased have a file attached to them in the Images and Files section.
So that confirms that there is no problem. Just that you didn't add any file to your product and thus there is nothing to download.
