-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : customer received this message when clicking on link in emailed invoice: Number of maximum downloads has been reached - it was first time she clicked on the link.

Our client received the emailed invoice and clicked on link and received this message: Number of maximum downloads has been reached

She did not receive the downloaded file.

Hi,

So, are you able to reproduce the problem if you place an order yourself ?
If no, then the customer is lying or clicked on the link by mistake or something.
If yes, then there may be a problem with how you setup that product file (check its settings and provide a screenshot), or the files settings of the HikaShop configuration (check these settings and provide a screenshot).

I will check with client - she downloaded via her iphone - any ideas what iphones do with downloaded MP3?

Hi,

It could be possible that the link is being processed in the background (to generate a preview).
The best for the moment would be to increase the download limit.
We do not have any iphone in the team so it will be difficult for us to perform tests, reproduce the problem and analyse the server logs.

HI - for this customer How can I increase her download limit on this product?

If we can do this - would she use the same link from her invoice?

If not - how can I use the Hikashop system to provide her a download link without charge - so it is easy for her?

Hi,

Edit the product via your backend, edit the file, and increase the download limit setting.
And yes, she can then use the same link.
