Hello,

Can you provide if possible more details :
- When you tell "some orders" do you know what is different from other good displayed orders ?
- Do you have some override view on order/show.php ?

Awaiting news from you.

Regards

Hi,

1. I've looked today into the issue and it seems that is a difference. The shipping address is displaying for only one category. For the rest of the categories it doesn't display.

2. Yes, I have overrides for order/show.php in the front-end.

thank you!

Hello,

You mean categories of products ?... If I'm right that wont have an effect on Order Shipping address display in backend...
Can you try to remove (and keep it aside) your override view to see if that solve your issue ?

If not, can you provide some back-end access via our " Contact us " form in order to process some tests.

Note : Add an Url link to this topic to your message.

Regards

Hi,

I've found the issue why the shipping address it doesn't display in the back-end.

The problem is when the user is going back to edit his "Step 1" settings. For example when he hits the back button on the browser is redirecting to his first step where the shipping address is filled automatically with United States and it can't be edited anymore and because of that all that we see in back-end is United States and nothing else.

This happens only when the users selects USPS. With UPS this problem doesn't exist, everything is working as it should.

Please see attached screenshots.

I've send all logins via your contact form.

thanks!

Hello,

Can you also give us a link to your back-end, or show me some screenshots of how you configured your checkout workflow via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout" ?

Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks, I was actually trying to access to your production website instead of your test website. I just wanted to check if your had some file customization through the files of the "Checkout" view of your "front-end" template via "Hikashop->Display->View".
Can you remove your checkout files customization by using the "trash" icon via "Hikashop->Display->Views" or directly test it with one of Joomla default templates and test it again ?

Thank you.

Hi,

I have customization and I've disabled all files before opening this support request and the problem is still there.

I've tested with "Protostar" template and I get the same issue, sometimes I get this issue without going back using the browser button. Is it filled by default and it won't let me select a Shipping Address at all. Please see attached screenshot.

thanks!

Hello,

The problem was coming from the fact that you have set the "Override shipping address text" option of your USPS shipping method to "United States which will override your customer shipping address.

It will work as the UPS shipping method if you unset that option.
