How to change the default time format in hikashop

How can you change the Time format from a 24 hour clock to a 12 hour clock? Mostly interested in the order notification emails that read: We are pleased to confirm the creation of your order No. B2B4 at aquacorals.com/ on the 09-13-2016 at 19:34

I thank you for that, but now there is an extra % that is returned and it is bringing up the day of the week instead of AM or PM
This is what is returned now: on 09-14-2016 at %08:10 Wednesday
I'd like it to be: on 09-14-2016 at 08:10 AM
