Assign Order to another person

Hi Guys,

I would like to know if its possible and if so how to approach...

So customer goes into the shop and buys something, they can then assign that something to someone else - who is given some kind of credential etc that they can login to the shop/ site and fine tune that order?

Payment is made on the first round. But order is still kind of in process until the receiver logs on and fine tunes the order.
