-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.4

how can i edit invoice template? i know display > veiws. but is not working. i want to as my logo on top of the invoice

You indeed can do it by editing the file "invoice" via the menu Display>Views for your backend template.
What do you mean by it doesn't work ?
Do you get an error message ?
How exactly does it not work ? Could you maybe provide some screenshots of the issue ?
