-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 7

Hello,

I have read through the numerous posts regarding this question but I believe our situation is different. We need to import the users and their Hikashop orders from our 2.5 site to a new 3.x site. What we did was made a copy of our 2.5 site and installed it in a production environment. We then did a one-click upgrade to 3.6.5, which was great because all the data was already in place. The issue is that the 2.5 site has been live since we've been working on our 3.x site. This means there are new users and new orders that need to be brought over to our new site.

How do we export and import only the new users and new orders? With SP upgrade I run into issues with transferring the data of a user that is already been transferred so we cannot just import all users at once to get the new users.

Any suggestions will be helpful.

Thanks

Hi,

For the users, it's not really a HikaShop problem but a Joomla problem. You'll find several extensions allowing you to import/export users between Joomla 2.5 and 3.x
www.google.com/search?q=Joomla+migrate+u...ceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Once you have all the users in Joomla, export/import the hikashop_user hikashop_order hikashop_history hikashop_order_product tables via PHPMyAdmin.
Finally, click on the "check database" button of the Hikashop configuration to synchronize the Joomla users with HikaShop's and fix the tables if necessary and you should be good to go.
