I have this one product set up, where people can order a copy of an old(/classic) boat brochure from an extensive library. Because there are too many to list, we just have the customer request the exact make/model/year of boat they're looking for, and then the order gets filled based on what they requested.

It seems to work fine on the front end, and if the customer tries to leave fields blank they can't continue to the cart (see attachment "required-fields.png") and when you go to the checkout, all of the information is visible there, (see attachment "cart.png") however, when the orders come in, recently they have stopped including any of these additional fields, except for one. (see attachment "missing-fields.png")

This seemed to roughly coincide with an update that required me to remove some customization from some emails, so I don't know if it's related at all, but either way, I can't think of a reason why the information would stop showing at all, in the emails as well as in the hikashop admin under orders.

Any help with figuring this out is much appreciated!

Hello,

Many roots can leads to this and can explain this kind of issue :
Can you check this :
- Custom fields configuration haven't changed, don't know from which HikaShop version you start for going to the 3.0.1, but that can leads sometimes by some configuration change while updating (especially when back end interface change).
If you don't see nothing strange, provide custom fields configuration screenshot (with one that display and another that don't)

- Have a look on the Data Base, and more especially the Hikashop_product and hikashop_order DB to see if by a way or another data wasn't kept or have been erased or modified.

Emails are not really linked to custom fields way to process.

Awaiting news from you
