Additional Information : Comments field not printing on Invoice or Shipping Inv

Hello, after upgrading to 3.1.1, on my Invoices and Shipping Invoices, the Additional information is not displaying. We had set up a 'Comments' field for customers to provide us with personal requests for their orders, their comments they typed into the field was displayed on our Invoices but since upgrading, they are not. They are included in the Order and in the email messages sent after ordering, however not on the Invoice or Shipping Invoice. How can I fix this please?

OK, have found the answer. Anybody who is searching, under Display --> Custom Fields. Click on the column name to edit the custom field, there is a button on the Display panel, which you can click Yes for Invoice and Shipping Invoice, then Save.

So I'm having the same problem. I have a custom field that is not showing anywhere but on the order page when the client makes an order. All the toggle switches are marked to "on"

Hi,

I've checked your website, but I don't see the problem.
For example for that custom field: monosnap.com/file/hA2WZi6wroIXlPi1HkTjCqRf8C85M5
If I turn on the "invoice" setting of the custom field, the custom field display properly on the invoice.
So please explain precisely what doesn't work where.

The products are envelopes so there is a custom field for clients to enter an address. That's the field not showing up anywhere. Especially the emails sent to the admin and the person who ordered the product

Hi,

We found the issue. It's a bug linked to the fact that your products have variants and that you've restricted your custom field to categories. The system didn't handle that well when creating the order and the information in the custom field was lost.
We've added a patch in order to fix that.
Download the install package on our website and install it on yours and that will fix the problem.
