The order confirmation emails doesn't get received. How can I fix it? Thank you very much.

Hi,

Are you able to verify that the email settings of the Joomla configuration are correct ?

Also, if you have a recent version of HikaShop, you should have a menu Customers>Email history where you can see the emails sent by HikaShop. If you see the emails there and they are not sent, then you need to check with your hosting provider why the emails are not being sent by the email server.

testing emails can't be sent out in Joomla configuration and I don't see Customers-->Emails about history.....

Hi,

Update your HikaShop and you'll have the Customers>Email history menu and you'll see all the new emails sent by HikaShop after the update.
That way, you'll easily know if the issue is that HikaShop is not generating the emails, or if your email server can't send the emails thanks to that area. And then, you'll be able to contact your hosting support with the details of the email from that area so that they can check in the logs of the email server why the email wasn't sent and help you move forward on that issue.

I saw the history with email but there is still no emails sent out.... And when checking out there is no way to go to next page for Address filling, only short shine up the checkout cart. How to become order number with sequences not random?

Hi,

Did you update your HikaShop ? Did you turn off the "checkout legacy" setting after updating ?
Do you see the emails in the email history ? If you do, then you should contact your hosting provide support for help as the emails are generated by HikaShop and sent to the email server so that they can be sent. So the problem must be in how your email settings are configured in the Joomla configuration, or a spam issue, or the way your domain name is configured, etc.

Finally, regarding the order number, you have the setting "order number format" you can use to change it:

Yes, I updated but it was always turned off. Not about upgrading. Even just reinstalling the old version can fix the legacy problem.
I saw the email account in the history, not sure if that means the email sent out.
About order number, what version has order number format?
Also I don't like the new version, since when adding something in the cart it never goes to the next page for address filling, only short time show up at the cart and people don't know to click the cart for next step. Is there way to downgrade the version or fix the problem?

Hi,

If you see the email in the Customers>Emails history, then HikaShop sent it. You then need to check with your hosting about your email sending settings in the Joomla configuration.

The "order number format" setting is available in both the Essential and the Business editions of HikaShop.

Regarding the "add to cart", it's not really a problem. You just need to configure the settings of the HikaShop cart notification plugin via the Joomla plugins manager to do the redirection to the checkout, and it will work like before.

I had same problem and I found out email address provide by my website host GoDaddy This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. never works.
I did change for Gmail e-mail and works as charm.
Try use different e-mail address and test in Global setup.
Joomla works as client for your e-mail, same as outlook or your smart phone, meaning you have make sure in your e-mail setting Forwarding and POP/IMAP is enable for external devices.
On Joomla Global configuration server make sure you got right setting for Mailer type.
Don't know who provide your e-mail, but most e-mail use PHP Mail, but you need to check with your e-mail provider.

About going to the checkout address filling page, I found it already is on redirect On Success. I never change it. Please see attachment.
Then why after Adding Card, still is not going to the next checkout page? I think its a serious problem becaues customers are ready to buy but are forced to stop, pity that they are not buying later on.... :(

Hi,

I checked your website and I think that the issue is linked to the javascript error you have on your pages:

I think it comes from a wrong configuration somewhere because from what I understand the issue is that in the header of your pages, jquery.ui is loaded before jquery itself. And thus, when jquery.ui loads it doesn't find jquery and thus it creates that error.
What I can recommend is that if you want to always be redirected when you add a product to the cart, you can disable the cart notification plugin. That will circumvent the problem with the javascript errors on your pages as the redirection will be handled in the PHP code of HikaShop.
Alternatively, you can also change the "display location" setting of that plugin to "popup", that way, the customer will get a popup allowing him to choose between continuing to add other products, or going to the checkout. I think it's the best since it let the customer choose what to do.

Then I found Google search console sent me twice that I have these problem after upgrading the Hikashop. Please let me know how to fix it.

Hi,

1. That's not linked to your update of HikaShop. And these are not errors, just things google would like to know but you might not be able / willing to provide. For example, for the "sku", if you activate the display of the product code on your pages, it will remove that warning. But you might not want to display, provide the product code of your products to your customers. In that case, just let it like that. It won't impact your SEO.

2. An error on the other hand is something you want to correct yes. Please provide a link to a page with that issue. And please open new threads for new, unrelated problems in the future.
