Hi,

How it will possible to add some infos in checkout process like in your shop?
To have a resume of the shopping in cart step?
I also like to add a text field to allow customer to add some infos.
I've create a Text field in Custom field configuration tab, but how to add it?

Thanks in advance
Regards

Hi,

To add fields on the checkout, you can create custom fields of the table "order" and they will appear in the "fields" view that you have in your "checkout workfllow" in the HikaShop configuration.
Note that this is only possible with the Business edition of HikaShop.
With the Starter edition, you only have access to "address" custom fields which appear on the registration form and the new/edition address form.

And if you want to have a final step to check the situation before finalizing, you just have to tweak your checkout workflow under the checkout tab of the HikaShop configuration:

Thansk for quick reply

Any other solution with essential version, I don't really need all option from business, and that make a bit expensive just for a custom field for customer to let additionnal information on order to have his book dedicate at the name he want to be

Hi,

You could create a custom field of the table "address". So the field would be available on the registration / guest form.
It's less nice as it's not directly attached to the order, but combined with a guest checkout, it doesn't change much as the users have to enter their address every time they checkout anyways.
Note that you'll also have the change the "address format" setting to include the tag of the custom field.
