No order creation e-mails

Hello there,

We have a weird problem with the orders. Our partner made three orders today but he didn't receive any order creation emails and we can't see that these emails were sent in the email history, although the orders are in place and valid in the HikaShop's orders page. We didn't modify the database or deleted any emails in the list or in the database.

Could you help please how could this happened? The only thing we noticed that the partner's email started with a capital letter.

Hi,

By default HikaShop sends 4 emails for an order:
- the order creation notification to the user when the order is created
- the order status notification to the user when the payment is received and the payment plugin automatically changes the status of the order to "confirmed"
- the order administrator notification to the admin when the order is created
- the payment notification to the admin when the payment is received and the payment plugin automatically changes the status of the order to "confirmed"

So your message seems to say that only the first email is not being generated but that others are generated and received. Is that the case ?
If it's the case, then the only reasons I know would be that the "order creation notification" email is deactivated in the menu System>Emails or that the email address used by the customer is invalid (in that case the second email to the user after the payment would also not be sent).
Or maybe you're saying that none of these emails are sent ? In that case, it's probably something at the Emails section of the Joomla configuration page which isn't configured properly or in the Emails section of the HikaShop configuration.
