-- HikaShop version -- : 4.7.1
-- Joomla version -- : 4.2.8
-- PHP version -- : 8.0.28
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 110.0
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Debug Maximum and no errors appear

  • All pricing of products includes postage = no postage module enabled.
  • Payment is only by bank transfer
  • No email history
  • No emails sent to customer or admins
  • Site send test email functions as expected

Is the no postage causing issues?
Tried enabling and going through some default settings and that made no change

One thing that pops up but doesn't show in errors is a random "Ajax Error"

Hi,

Are you saying that your problem is that no emails are sent by HikaShop when an order is created ?
Did you disable some of the emails in the menu System>Emails ? Could you provide a screenshot from the listing of emails there ?
Could you also provide a screenshot of the Emails section under the Main tab of the HikaShop configuration ?

Correct

This setup is default

Could you also provide a screenshot of the Emails section under the Main tab of the HikaShop configuration ?

Hi,

With the emails published, I don't see how the email history could be empty.
Could you provide a screenshot of the page in Customers>Emails history ?
If it's really empty, then we'll need a backend access in order to check the situation.
Could you provide that via our contact form ?

Hi,

You have no orders, so it's normal you get no emails.
Orders can't be created the way you setup your website.
In your "Checkout workflow" in the HikaShop configuration page, you didn't remove the "shipping" block:

So the selection of a shipping method is required on the checkout.
But the only shipping method you have created is unpublished in System>Shipping methods.
That's why there is a red error message at the end of your checkout page. You've used a translation override to change that message, but without the override, it says "no shipping method found".

So either:
- you remove the "shipping" block from the checkout
- you create a shipping method of the type "manual plugin" in System>Shipping methods with a price of 0

Suspected it was the Postage causing the issue and I'd gone about all the wrong way.
