Can't load product into cart if user is not loged in.

Hi there

I aded some charasteristics to some products.

Now the problem is that the products with the charasteristics can't be put into the cart if the user is not loged in!
An error messages pops up and tell the user that "this product is currently unavailable!"
Customers will think that the product is not available and not order!
Aditional information:
If I take away the charasteristics then the product can be added to cart without to be loged in.
I need help immediately as we have a promotion going on.

Hi,

There is no message "this product is currently unavailable" in HikaShop.
And I don't see why being logged in or not would change anything for products with characteristics or not during the add to cart process.
Please provie the URL of a product with the issue and screenshots of the settings of this product from the backend so that we can look into it.

Please try to add this product into the cart.

There will be a message on the right top and the product will not be added to the cart.

Thanks for the link and the screenshots.

The error "こちらの商品「820」は現在お取り扱いできません" uses the translation key PRODUCT_NOT_AVAILABLE
The text in English is "The product %s is not available".
It is made to be displayed by HikaShop in several cases:
- when the variant or product being added to the cart is unpublished
- when the variant being added to the cart doesn't have a parent product or if the parent product is unpublished
- when the variant being added to the cart has an unpublished parent product
- when the variant being added to the cart has a parent product with a restricted access level which doesn't allow the current user to add the product to the cart

As you can see, these are all cases which shouldn't normally happen because the product page itself and the variant are available to the current user. So this is hinting at a potential bug somewhere, for some reason.

Now, based on your screenshot, I can see that the "access level" setting of your main product is not set to "all", indicating that some users can't access the product page. So I'm suspecting there might be a bug in HikaShop when handling variants where the main product has its access level restricted in some cases.

Since we're not able to reproduce the problem on our local test server, and since no one else reported the problem so far, we'll need a backend access and a FTP access in order to investigate the problem.

You're right, it's about the access level.
As soon I change it to "all" the goods can be put into the cart without to be loged in.

I tried it with each user group and it will not work if one of the groups has no access.

I have the following groups.
-Puplic
-Registered
-Bar
-Super User
-Wholesale

Hi,

Thanks for the information. I was now able to reproduce the issue locally and made a patch for it.
Download again the install package of HikaShop 5 on our website and install on yours to get the patch and it will work.
