Notification if order goes unconfirmed

Is there a method of receiving a notification if an order has been created, but not confirmed within a specific amount of time?

Hello,

You just have to fill this input with the required email to notify :

And, check that your Order Creation Notification email is published :
In System => Emails

Thank you. Yes I know that will send out a notification when the order has been created. But is there a way for that email or similar email to be generated if the order is not confirmed within an hour or two? I've a client that wants to be notified when a cart has not been paid for so that she can follow up with the buyer to see why they didn't follow through.

Hi,

There is no system for that.
However, I think there is something even better:

This plugin will directly send the follow up email to the customer. It will automatically check that another order has not been created afterwards before sending the email (that way, if the user creates an order, doesn't pay it, and then creates another order and pays that second one, the plugin won't notify the user for the first order).
