Info in order mail all cramped up!

Please see the attached image of an order mail sendt after status change, watched on a mobile. Why are the informations all cramped together!! It looks like the price of the item is 1600 but that is becaus there is abosolutely no space between the amount and the price. Also there is no space between the headers!

Hi,

I don't have the problem on my end.
Could it be that you're using a really old version of HikaShop, or that you have customized the email in the System>Emails menu based on an old version of HikaShop ?
That could explain why you have that problem and I don't.
So I would first recommend checking on both of these things.

I use the latest version of Hikashop: 5.1.2 - only code change in the e-mail template is the logo image - nothing else.

Hi,

Yes, but if you only change the logo and that the version of the file of the template on which you did the modification is an old version, then you're missing on the modifications we made since then to the template.
I would recommend switching back to the default template in order to see if you still have the issue. And if not, do again the customization based on the new version of the default email template.
If that doesn't help, please provide a backend access so that we can check the situation.
Maybe the issue is somewhere else ?
What application are you using on your smartphone in order to open the email ?

I have used the "See modifications" to check that there are no other differences in the code, than the url to the logo ! Can you please try an place an order, but cancel at the payment - then I will make an order status change so that you recieve that mail to.
I have no idea which app the customer is using on his/her phone.

Another problem with formating is the font-size in the backend dashboard of Hikashop - I have had to add custom css to the default template to make the text appear correct.

We have process some tests
and we were unable to reproduce what your screenshot shows in your first post.
But we still tried something by modifying your Order Status Notification.

Can you carry out tests to see if this changes anything, or even solves your problem?
If not, give us precisely your smartphone model (or the one we can see on your first screenshot).

- The emails with which you noticed the problems (order status notification, order creation notification, payment notification etc...)
- Annotated screenshot displaying your current issue.
- Url to your Backend (administrator)
- Backend user reference (with maximum ACL)

Philip, please read my post again, then compare with OP. It is the same problem.
You can test on your default install.

You write:

Note that only with Gmail app (so far) regarding your specific problem.


In gmail and with price format 00,xx €, you have problem. So all EU with gmail customers. 30% of customers? Not so specific.
