-- HikaShop version -- :2.1.3
-- Joomla version -- : x.x2.5.14-- PHP version -- : x.x.x
-- Browser(s) name and version -- :Chrome 28.0.1500.72
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : You need to enter your PayPal E-mail. If you don't have yet a PayPal account, you can create a new account by clicking here

The problem started with I tried to updgrade to the latest version of Hikashop. Kept getting "Error Occured -1" message. I think tried to upgrade manually. It looked like everything worked properly. My client, however, told me payment was not working.

I went to System > Payment Methods. Nothing was there. I clicked on "new." I see Hikashop Paypal" enabled. I click on that, and I see the error message above.

I see there is no email entered. I try to enter the email address, and it does not take.

I'm confident this is a file permissions issue, but I don't know what file to change.

Hi,

I think that you should :
- Download the last version of hikashop through our website
- try to install it again and follow this documentation regarding the -1 error that you are having.

Hope this will help you a little.

This looks like it could delete all of the orders currently in the system. No?

Is there any chance I could pay someone on your end to fix this?

What you're describing sounds like a database structure issue:
The database was not updated properly during the update process and because of that the queries are failing everywhere which makes you think that the data is gone.
If you turn on the debug mode of the joomla configuration you should see SQL errors telling you what queries are failing and for what columns.
We actually have a documentation on such issues available here:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/6...lity-issues.html#SQL
Basically, you need to run the database update queries manually via phpmyadmin and that will work again.
