MIGS payment gateway connection error

-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.klf-marketing.com/index.php/hikashop...checkout/step/step-1
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.0
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : There was an error during the connection with the MIGS payment gateway

Whenever i try to submit after entering the Credit Card details I get that error.

What seems to be the problem here?

Hi,

Please activate the debug mode in the Migs plugin.
At this moment the plugin will show you the "CURL" error.
Maybe there is a firewall in your server so it can't connect to the migs server, or the CURL SSL module is not activated.

With the debug mode activated in the plugin, we will have more information to understand the problem.

hi,

Sorry for the very late reply but here's the error i keep getting.

Curl Err [6] : Could not resolve host: https (Domain name not found)

the site is already ssl enabled. www.klf-marketing.com

and also i'm not sure what what to put on the URL, VPC Mode fields.

Hi,

You have to activate the SSL module for PHP.
Your webserver can handle SSL but it does not mean that the SSL module is activated for PHP and CURL.

Hi,

The error "Curl Err [6] : Could not resolve host: https (Domain name not found)" means that the URL parameter that you entered in the MIGS payment plugin is not correct.
If you empty the field, it should use the default MIGS gateway URL and you should not get the error anymore.

I would recommend to contact your MIGS support agent to check which VPC method you should use, if you should enter a specific gateway URL in the URL field and if your credentials are correct.
Then, once all that is correct in the plugin options, it will work.
