The quantity of Paypal methods are confusing

Hi,

I'm looking for a payment method where the customers can pay mainly by Creditcard. To have additionally Paypal is nice but not required.
Anyway. From what I read about the diferent Paypal methods I belive that Paypal Basic and Paypal Advanced are the methods fits to our needs. If I understand right, Paypal Basic redirects completely to Paypal and all inputs are made on their side, when ready it redirects back to the Shop. Also the customers can pay with Credit Card AND Paypal. With Paypal Advanced the customer can stay on the shop site, also pay with Credit Card AND Paypal and everything goes over an API. Right?

I looked into your Paypal plugin and did't see an option for testing transactions (no Simulation mode or Sandbox). How can I test there if everything works well?
The Paypal Advanced plugin isn't ready for Hikashop at the moment, only for Hikamarket as far as I know. But if it is ready in the future, will it use the Paypal API and will it have a Simulation mode?

Because I need a solution now, I have to use Paypal Basic. So how can I test everything before we go live with this method?

Hikamarket is overkill for our small business clients, so we don't need it. It there a chance for Paypal Advanced in Hikashop in the near future?
