Im currently using the AlphaUserPoints paying method for hikashop.
But im facing with an problem.

Im using the following structure :
- Drinks (Category)
---- Cola (Product)
- Food (Category)
---- Sushi (Product)

Inside the User points method settings i give 20 points for each product. (For example 2x Cola and 3x Sushi gives me 100 points)

But i want the system to only add these points to all produtcs inside category "Cola". So if we use the example above i only get 40 points. Since the product Sushi is not inside the category "Cola".

Is this even possible? And how can i achieve this?

Dear regards,

Fontijn

Hi,

At the "beginning", we made the plugin "Alpha User Points" which was mostly a payment plugin and got some options for the "point earning".
With the time, the plugin evolve and got more options.
Few months ago, we split the plugin into two new "user points" plugin to separate the payment part with the earning part but we didn't update the earning part with all restriction features that we got in the shipping plugin for example.

It is planned that the plugin "user points" will have new features for restrictions in order to have rules for different categories or to let the admin define the points for specific products (like the "shipping price per products" works).
But for the moment, this development is just planned and I can't give you specific schedule for that.

Thank you for your answer.

I now know why i couldnt find this restriction option. So i guess i have to wait until the feature will be added.
