Hi,
i am trying to setup the paypal payment method and more specific the ipn. I have read your guides , created a sandbox account and have simulated the payment process. The sandbox buyer sends the money to the merchant and the order is created. But it is not confirmed. I checked the ipn history of my sandbox merchant account and the ipn status is retrying - and eventually failed- and the error is 403.
I have enabled the debug but no logs are created at the specified location of hikashop configuration. I have disabled admin tools and all htaccess and again i get 403 errors. What could be wrong? Site is multilingual with sef enabled .thank you in advance

Hi,

When you simulate payment, are the payments sent to Paypal ? Do you see the entries in the Paypal interface ?

If you have nothing in the log files, and the order's statuses are not changed, so it's indeed a communication problem.
Thanks to read that documentation:

When i simulate the payment i get on my merchant account
May 16, 2014 Payment From XXX Completed
Then at ipn history the error 403 still occurs.
I have disabled all sef urls , removed any htaccess i had in the frontend and disabled akkeba admin tools plugin. The url i have put at notification url of paypal is
www.mysite.com/index.php?option=com_hika...pl=component&lang=el

The order is created but not confirmed. The only thing i did not do from the documentation you sent me is the one with force menu on checkout. It is set to none and when i enetered a menu i got 404 error so i aborted it. But anyway all my menus have public access.

Lastly i have put a return url for thank you page at paypal (http://www.mysite.comindex.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=checkout&task=after_end)

No debug error is generated at paypal plugin

If you get a 403 error it usually means that the SEF is not able to display the page because the Itemid parameter is missing in the IPN URL (it should be set with the id of a HikaShop menu item) or that your website is not accessible (for example if you didn't allow public access to your shop menu items, or if you set the website in maintenance, and because of that, PayPal cannot contact HikaShop for the IPN.
So please check on that.

Hi,
I have checked all your suggestions but the problem is still there... Is it possible to pm you the admin credentials and maybe you can look into that? Thank you in advance.
