Disable shipping address on paypal.com

Hello,

is it possible to disable showing the customers shipping address on paypal.com payment sites? The reason is that for online services it is confusing the customers.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I tried all 3 in sanbox.paypal and it made absolutely no difference: papyal process was three times the same (including shipping address).

What could be the cause for this?

Would like to add that my question is regarding the display of the shiping address (if "prompt" means asking the customer to enter the address this is not happing in all 3 cases)

You should probably directly contact PayPal about that issue, they might be able to tell you from where the issue is coming from .

I will do that, but I need your help finding out what the issue is first. I mean I am not 100% sure how it is supposed to work: Is it usually possible with hikashop to influence the process on paypal.com in that way that there is no shipping address displayed at all on the pages on paypal.com? If so, what would be the configuration for this?

As Jerome told you, we are correctly sending them a value for their "no shipping" option, and as it's said on their documentation :

No shipping: Based on that option PayPal will display the shipping address form or not:
2 Required -> prompt for shipping address, and require one
1 Yes -> do not prompt for shipping address
0 No -> prompt for shipping address, but do not require one
