Reading documentation of the plugin PayPal Pro, I didn't understand if this is ok for my site.
PayPal Customer service told me to ask you if the plugin support this service: Website Payments Pro Hosted ( developer.paypal.com/webapps/developer/d...pro-hosted-solution/ )
Thanks!

Hi,

No PayPal pro is not using an iframe or paypal page, it display a form on your website and then send the informations to Paypal, and then paypal inform of the order status, etc.

The credit card informations are not stored on your website.

Hi,

No I don't think that it has been developed for HikaShop at this time.
But the PayPal Pro plugin is very secured, no informations are stored on your website.

I'm sure about that. Unfortunately, in Italy the service is only hosted :(
Thanks anyway

PayPal Advanced offer the same possibility (an iframe on the website to capture the credit card) and is available in HikaShop and works for a lot more countries than PayPal Pro. I would recommend to look at that possibility.

Hi,

Paypal Advenced is only for US and Canada too...

PayPal Payments Advanced (US & Canada only)

developer.paypal.com/webapps/developer/d...lassic/products/#ppa

Is-it possible to integrate Payments Pro Hosted Solution with Hikashop ?

Hi,

I'm sorry but I don't see of which Paypal API you're talking about ; the page have too much links and is talking about too much systems.
HikaShop already have several Paypal plugins ("classical", pro, recurring, express, adaptive...)

Hi Jerome,

Paypal API = PayPal Payments Advanced

Nicolas said:

PayPal Advanced [...] works for a lot more countries than PayPal Pro

but this is no longer true because : "PayPal Payments Advanced (US & Canada only)"

How to display only a credit card form on a website in Europe? Paypall Pro and Paypal Advanced are no longer available for European countries and Payments Pro Hosted (Paypal API for Europe) has no Hikashop plugin...

Thank you

Merci Jerome,

PayPal Advanced [...] works for a lot more countries than PayPal Pro

Hi,

"Paypal Pro hosted" is in fact "Paypal Integral Evolution" (for Frenchies).
It's the magic with Paypal, a lot of services, a lot of names, a lot of API and a real mess to find something in the documentation.
www.paypalobjects.com/webstatic/en_FR/de...ntegralevolution.pdf

It will named "paypal plus" for japan "paypal pro" for Italy (even if "paypal pro us" is a totally different thing !)
