-- Joomla version -- : 3.31
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.7

My customer delights to use Hikashop.

There are some customers who like to pay by pay-pal method, so we install the pay-pal plugin.
Everything looks ok. However, when the customer select pay-pal to checkout. The screen goes to a pay-pal and a credit card payment. Our company do not have credit card direct payment method.

How have we eliminate the credit card payment diagram attached to pay-pal? We like straight simple only paypal method checkout.

Please urgently reply as customers are coming now.

Thank in advance

Silvester

Hi,

If the custom pay with his credit card in the paypal website, it is paypal which will manage the transaction, not you.
For more details about that, please contact paypal.

Hi, Jerome

You always give good advise. I have read this link too
www.hikashop.com/forum/payment-methods/8...d-type-dropdown.html

1. I install credit card plugin. The program comes up with a Form to fill in credit card info. sounds great !
2. It does validation too. Fantastic!
3. It does not ask for credit card type. Does it know the card is Visa, Master or A.E. ?
4. When it sends the other half info via email, the other half info is in Customer order files. Since I have not connected the system real on-line. Can you tell me where the card type info location ? Otherwise, how can I manually charge the customers the amount.

Thanks

Silvester

Hi,

I have to admit that I am completely lost with your two messages ; I don't understand your goals.
But if you manage to do what you want to achieve, it's a good news.

Does the credit card type information include in the email notifications so that I know the customer uses which type of card to pay the bills ?

If you use the credit card plugin of HikaShop to collect credit card information and that you activate the "ask type" option of the payment method so that the customer has to select his credit card type, the credit card type will be added in the email notification yes.
Note however that this information is no necessary. Credit card numbers are created in a consistent way. American Express cards start with either 34 or 37. Mastercard numbers begin with 51–55. Visa cards start with 4.

Hi, Nicolas

See, you are so knowledgeable about Payment method as a founder of Hikashop, you are worth it.
That's my wanted answer. Simply as that. It saves me a lot of research time and effort.

My last question or task is that I have created ten custom fields on product specifications.
It showed on the product detail page. But it displayed in the vertical manner. First the big photos, qty and add to cart, and then the specifications.
As it is quite a long page, I would like to show the specifications on the right hand side of the photo. So that the viewer does not need to scroll all the way down to see the information.
Is that possible? Please advise me the way or show me an example in your forum.
I am ten meters before the finish line. Hurry, hurry.

Hi,

Yes it's indeed possible, you have to edit the view "product / show_default" in order to move the part:

	if(!empty($this->fields)){
		//LAYOUT show_block_custom_main
		$this->setLayout('show_block_custom_main');
		echo $this->loadTemplate();
	}
	?>
at the desired place
