Sell product plus REQUIRED recurring svc payment

-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : ... recurring and non-recurring products in same cart.... something to that effect

Working all around Hikashop and Akeeba Subscriptions and associated plugins try to accomplish this:

-Sell an item that will be taxed and shipped.
-Require that upon purchasing that item a monthly service fee must also be accepted that will amount to AUTOMATIC recurring payments.. I want this to occur in ONE CART with one payment method.

I dont care if any payment is PayPal or not, but at least must require a Credit Card or PayPal. I dont want to bill customers for this fee- I want it to be automatic.

It seems i can set up the recurring payments services and sell them separately, but not in conjunction with a product...

The best i came up with was setting up my main product and then setting up another (service) product associated with Akeeba Subscriptions and then inserting that second (service) product as an OPTION for the main product---- but that resulted in error message: "Recurring products & not recurring products in cart, please keep only one type of product in this cart." and the PayPal Recurring Payment method and service item disappears from cart....

...and FYI, of the two integrating plugins, I'm using Hikashop's own Akeeba Subscriptions - HikaShop Integration (akeebasubs) and am not using (disabled) the Hikashop Akeeba Subscription Plugin Integration (akeebas). And yes I have the Hikashop Paypal Recurring Payment Plugin (paypalrecurring) enabled.

It's indeed not possible to have recurring products and non recurring products at the same time in the cart, because we can't use the same payment method.

So you will have to set up you main product as recurring product and change it's name to "item with monthly service" or something like that. Else it will require a lot of modifications so good PHP knowledges.
