Stripe.com payment plugin alternatives

Does anyone know what happened to CMSTechs and their implementation of the stripe.com payment gateway for Hikashop?

We want to emulate what the Authorize.net payment process does (where it asks for your credit card information in the checkout process). The current built-in implementation occurs after the checkout process and then, if it fails for whatever reason, the cart contents are lost and the visitor has to start all over again.

I tried contacting CMStechs and their email gets bounced. There is no content or support on their website and I was hoping someone here would have an idea if they are still around or if they have used their plugin and how it works.

Yes, we tried using it, but it is called after the shopping cart is processed and when the card fails, the cart is left empty and we had too much customer confusion on how to come back and pay for the order...especialky for guest checkout. Whereas the auth.net plugin obtains the credit card information within the checkout process and keeps the cart contents intact until a successful payment is processed.
