Payment above €999 will be divided by 1000...

Hi,
when a customer orders goods with an amount higher then €1000,- the payment via iDeal (ccIDEAL) will be divided by 1000.

So,
if he orders for example for €999,99 the iDeal amount will be €999,99

BUT

if he orders €1000,00 or higher the bill is dived by 1000 so he has to pay €1,00

What is wrong???

Hi,

I don't know the payment plugin, but it seems that there's a mismatch with decimal and group separators.
Your currency is set to use "," for decimals, and "." for groups of 1000. Could it be that the payment plugin does not match this, but is set up the other way around?

Please check, eventually correct so they match, then try again?

I guess that will be the issue. The problem is that within Hikashop, I can not find where to fill out the separators :(

Oh, that's simple:
In the HikaShop backend, go to -> System -> Currencies (Währungen). Click onto "Euro" or "EUR", then look in the right pane under "Locale information" (Regionsinformation). Don't forget to save after you've made changes.

Bingo. :)

EDIT:
Well, that's for the shop currency settings, of course. Again, I don't know if the payment plugin has it's own backend settings for this. Maybe it's hardcoded there.

thank you for helping me. At the Hikashop currencies part, these settings are correct. I guess it will be another issue then...

Yeah, see the edit in my post above... sorry for adding it late.

I think you have two options:
1. Swap "," and "." in the shop currency settings, so a price reads like 1,999.00

If that's not what you want to do,
2. investigate the payment plugin, starting with its backend settings, eventually moving on to checking the code. If it's in the code, you can change it directly (not update-safe), or re-create a sort of copy of the plugin where the code is changed to your needs.

hmmm... it looks like it is an ccIDEAL issue. They send me an email that they had this issue also in a former version... they are investigating it as we speak.... I'll keep you posted on here to explain the issue after it is solved.
