Hi,

I've just had an order problem.

Someone ordered one of my products (tried twice) but was not able to pay (I received two notifications by mail : "Notification de paiement de Paypal refusée:Montant invalide").

The order was :

35,90 €
Livraison 6,45 €
Total 42,35 €

But apparently, Paypal received a total amount of 50.82EUR, and didn't accept (of course) the payment.

Where can the problem come from?``

Thanks !

Hi,

It could be:
- The customer which changed the price to pay
- A bug preventing PayPal to calculate the correct amount

You can't do nothing for the first one and can just ignore such orders.
For the second case, you can turn off the "send order details" option of the PayPal payment method. That way HikaShop will always send the full total to pay to PayPal and thus PayPal won't have anything to calculate and the amount paid will match the amount in the order.

Juste got the feedback from a customer.

Paypal is adding a 20% tax on the product.

My product price on the website is with taxes included (actually, I put the final price for the product price, and added a 0% taxe on it ... Which should be like having product price without taxes + taxe ... it's easier for me this way)

Anyway, here it is in summary :

In website cart :
Product price (with 0% tax) : 35,90 €
Shipping : 6,45 €
Total displaying in the cart : 42,35 €

BUT

When I get to Paypal :

Product price : €42,35
+ TVA (20,000 % en France) : €8,47 (where does this come from ???)
Total : €50,82

I tried to turn off "send order details", but it's the same !!
