-- HikaShop version -- : Essential
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.3

Hello,
I purchased HikaShop as I needed an e-commerce solution with a loyalty scheme for my client. I have been assured this is possible with HikaShop Essential. However, despite reading the available documentation, I am really struggling to implement my requirements.
We simply want to offer customers £5 off for every £30 they spend (cumulatively).
I have tried installing Alpha User Points and following the instructions for this and the HikaShop user points but I can't seem to find the appropriate settings. Each time, it says it is only possible with HikaShop business though I have been assured several times via your contact form that I can still do this with Essential.
Please let me know ASAP as we want to launch the website this Friday.
Many thanks in advance,
Anne

Please can you explain what the specific configuration settings mean in the userpoints plugin (or point me to a guide to explain more).
I want to assign 1 point (worth £5) whenever a customer has spent £30 or more.
Thanks in advance,
Anne

Hi,

First ; please duplicate your questions in the forum and by email. It won't make the support faster and will have the complete opposite effect.

So !

1 / The plugins "user points" are include in HikaShop Essential (and Business) ; so you are able to configure your "loyalty scheme" using HikaShop Essential.

The plugin "HikaShop > User Points" (via "HikaShop > System > Plugins") allow you to configure the rules to let your customer earn points when they bough products.
The plugin "HikaShop Payment > User Points" (via "HikaShop > System > Payment methods") allow you to configure the rules to let your customer use their points to generate discounts.

Now if you already set some configuration for these plugins. The best will to be provide screenshot so we could take a look and tell you what is missing.
Because your screenshot in " 2 " is just an empty configuration so I don't think it will work like that.

Hi,
I attach 2 screengrabs of what I have entered so far
]Just to clarify, what I want to set-up is:

Customers earn 1 point (worth £5) whenever the value of their orders reaches £30. It applies to any product in the store.
I want this to apply to cumulative orders so if 1 week they ordered something worth £20, then the next they ordered something worth £10, then they would earn their 1 point with that second purchase.

I attach a screengrab of what I have set-up so far and what I am unclear about.
Many thanks,
Anne

Hi,

I'm sorry but there is no screenshot/screengrab attached to your message.

I want this to apply to cumulative orders so if 1 week they ordered something worth £20, then the next they ordered something worth £10, then they would earn their 1 point with that second purchase.

That is not possible using the "user points" plugin ; it only allow to earn point for one single order.
If you want to do a processing on several orders for a specific period ; I think you should use a mass action (or a custom plugin). But the "user point" plugin is working for one single order at a time.

Here is the attachment - saved as both word and pdf as I added some notes. Please let me know asap if you are unable to open this. Just to clarify again Customers earn 1 point (worth £5) whenever the value of their orders reaches £30. It applies to any product in the store.
I want this to apply to cumulative orders so if 1 week they ordered something worth £20, then the next they ordered something worth £10, then they would earn their 1 point with that second purchase.
Jerome, you say that this will not be possible with hika shop user points. Will Apha User Points do this? I was told by Nicholas before I purchased the product that it would. If not, please advise which plugin I can use (see below).

Hi,
I see two possible solutions:
- You use our integration with AcyMailing in order to send by email a coupon code after the purchases. However that solution doesn't allow you to combine orders to get the coupon.
- You use the points system in HikaShop:
www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...57-using-points.html
People will gain points when purchasing stuff on your shop, and they'll then be able to use those points on the shop.
Best regards,
Nicolas

Thanks,
Anne

Hi,

Here the documentation of the old (and deprecated) plugin "AlphaUserPoints".
That plugin has been replaced by the two "user points" plugins (one for using points, the other to gain some).
These plugins are compatible with "AlphaUserPoints", the HikaShop "user_points" custom field and will also be compatible with EasySocial points.

In the documentation you will find some settings which has been migrate to the new plugins :
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/i...userpoints-form.html

Like

Products points: Here you can choose to give a certain number of points for each product in an order.

About your question about earning point on cumulative orders ; Nicolas never told you that it was possible.
I'm just telling you that you can't have a rule which say "if the user have bought for £50 in several orders in a certain period of time".
The plugin process the number of point that you can earn for one single unique order.
Please see my previous message which already explain that...

Hi, to solve your problem you can use an external plugin named "Fidelity Point Card" that add to AlphaUserPoints the rule that you need.

THIS IS THE PLUGIN THAT YOU NEED (i think): store.alphaplug.com/index.php/component/p2dxt/?p2did=59

Marco
