Hi!

I would like to have 2 types of products on my page:
- 1st is the usual with USD and Paypal
- 2nd is in only user points with the Alphauserpoints payment plugin.

My problem is twofold:
- Iif I set it up with any kind of rate, where the price of the point buy product is greater than 1 dollar, it doesn't let my Pay with points. So if I set the point to dollar rate to 1, I cannot buy it with points, but I can pay with paypal.
- I don't want to allow the the users to pay for these products with real money, only with points. So for the products that have their prices set in userpoints I don't want to see Paypal as a payment option.
- Combination of the two is that if I choose a point buy product, and a normal product, i can pay with paypal for both, where the price of the point buy product is under a dollar.

Even if I apply the restrictions in the Paypal payment plugin, to only allow it to pay for dollars, because of the rate, it thinks that the point buy product also has a dollar price, so it can pay.

If I set the rate to 0, I get division by zero errors, and cannot pay neither with points nor with paypal.

So, how do you set up a currency, that is not related to dollar, and cannot be paid for with Paypal?

Hi,

The currency has to be related to your main currency.
So you can't do that.
The closest is to set a rate in your currency, create two warehouse, and assign the different products to different warehouses, then assign shipping methods to the different warehouses, and then assign the different payment methods to the different shipping methods.
That way, you can have some products paid only with one payment method, and the others paid only with another payment method.
