Payment Option - Lease Form

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.8

The site I am building needs 2 payment options:

Stripe - BINGO
Lease form - ?

Essentially we are able to offer a leasing option and we would like the customer to pre-fill as much information as possible to be sent (automatically?) to the leasing company to reduce the "cooldown" period for the customer. Is there any way to incorporate this into the checkout flow with a custom payment method that moves the order to "created" (is there a way to create an additional order status like "pending"?) and sends an e-mail (I'm guessing I'd use the Breezing Forms send for that). Basically a payment option that "completes" on the completion of a form.

I'm guessing there will be a nice, simple answer, involving custom fields but a workflow will save me 3 hours of fiddling :)

Hi,

It'll require a custom plugin for that new kind of payment method.

It could use custom fields but custom fields are not related to a payment method.
So you can use "custom html" in the payment plugin or have a lite payment plugin with a special "end" view where you could put a form and catch the submitted data.
