Hi,
I would like to ask anyone who is using the Svea Webpay plugins for Invoice payments if they have the same issue as I have.
I was the one that initiated this plugin an Hikashop made it a reality so my first site is now up and running since early this year and works just fine. They use Svea Webpay Incvoice and payment plan.
Now I have another site where we want Svea Webpay Invoice and Credit card payment options.
But the Svea Webpay Invoice is not working (credit card is working though). When validating the Person no. (SSN) it just loads for an eternity.
I have tried to reinstall etc. and finaly started to discuss the issue with my host. From the PHP settings compared to the host with my working site the only main diference is PHP 5.5 on the working site and only support for PHP 5.4 on this host so they said it is the PHP version that makes the issue.
So I installed the site from an akeeba backup to a new host with PHP 5.5 support and voila it works.
Still some hesitation as Hikashop say thay the Svea Plugin shall have support for all PHP 5 versions.
So I also tried to create a blank acount with a new domain on the host and installed the akeeba backup version that worked on the other PHP 5.5 host.
Still the same issue so this is definitely a host issue in my world.
I would really like to hear if someone else using Svea Webpay Invoice is using a PHP version lower than PHP 5.5 and have it working.
Thanks.
Micke

Hi,

HikaShop is compatible with PHP 5.x
The plugin Svea Webpay is using the official library which requires (according to their documentation) PHP 5.3 or newer.
github.com/sveawebpay/php-integration

So, you should not have issues with PHP 5.4 ; I think your problem is coming from something else.

Hello,

To complete Jerome answer:

I can't be sure to this solution but Invoice mode in order to get user address set a Curl request, if this Curl processing fail on your host server, your plugin won't have response, if I'm right that can explain this loop process on Invoice mode.

So, ask for your server log error to see if there is curl error or maybe an other error type.

Hello,

I have tried it on three different hosts and those two who support PHP5.5 it is working but unfortunately on the one we are using it is only PHP 5.4 support.
And this might be interesting, this is the latest reply from my host that is not supporting PHP5.5:

Unfortunately we only provide upto PHP 5.4 version on our server. That is the reason you are getting check out error. There are some PHP variables in PHP 5.5 which are absent in PHP 5.4. We are very soon going to introduce a new Control Panel where you will get PHP 5.5 and above.

This leads me to the conclusion thaty PHP 5.5 is definitely necessary both by own trial and errors and their replies that verifies my theories.

Micke

Hi,

You have the right to have that conclusion but like we told you, the version of PHP is not the source of your issue but the "curl" module should.
So, for us, your conclusion is not the right one.
