Paypal recurring orders/payments

I am trying to setup recurring orders/payments with the Hikashop Paypal Recurring Payment Plugin.

How does the recurring payment functionality get applied to orders? Is it possible to provide users some sort of option to select whether they want to make an order recurring?

Hi,

Thanks to PayPal recurring payment plugin, you can set a recurring payment on a whole order.
For this, in the payment method settings you have to select the value "Global subscription" for the option "Type of subscription".

That way the customer can have a recurring order, and to choose if he want a recurring order or not, he just have to select this payment method or another one when checking out.

Does the recurring plugin work with PayPal Payments Pro?

I am not sure to understand correctly your question.
The paypal recurring plugin can be used in parallel with the paypal payment pro, so have two different payment methods in the checkout.
But the paypal recurring payment method can't display the credit card form on the website, it need to redirect to paypal to handle the recurring.
