Adding credit card charge

Hi,

I was wondering what could be done to enable a credit card charge at checkout. Currently the system uses the secure trading hosted method of payment. I was thinking of creating two payment methods and Debit cards and Credit cards with the credit card option adding 1.8% charge to the cost. However, it seems you can't have two of the same payment method as it causes issues (it stops the redirect to secure trading and stops working if there are two secure trading payment methods) - not sure we can get round that?

Is there an option at checkout where there can be a checkbox that says something like "Paying by credit card 1.8% fee applies" customer checks this and the charge is added before heading to secure trading?
