Login and Pay with Amazon

I first followed the old Amazon payment system at this thread and received similar errors:
www.hikashop.com/forum/payment-methods/8...-error.html?start=20

I followed the link to the Login and Pay with Amazon Plugin:
www.hikashop.com/support/support/documentation/332

Attached is my configuration, personal info removed. Why isn't login and pay with amazon an option in the cart? Is Hikashop able to support the Amazon payment services?

Hello,

The fact that Checkout with Amazon isn't displayed among other payment method is normal because this plugin have to avoid HikaShop checkout process, that's why you can see it on the Cart module (if you have one) and if you want on the checkout but only beside the finish button in order to move to Amazon payment gateway.

Hope this will help you.

Regards

Thanks for the clarification on where Checkout With Amazon should be displayed.

However, the Checkout With Amazon button is not displaying as it should. Neither in the cart module or the checkout. See attached.

Hello,

Thanks for your link, I'm sorry but I really unable to see why the Amazon button isn't displayed from where I am...
So second steps :
- Try to switch your front end template on Protostar, in order to see if the button appear.
- Check if you have some plugins that maybe can conflict with the displaying.
- If nothing works, send us via our Contact us form some back-end access in order to process some tests, ftp access can be very useful too !

Awaiting news from you.

Regards

Hello,

We had received your access references, but I haven't enough rights to proceed required tests, and so I couldn't understand the root issue.
I will need at least be able to create a payment method in order to use my Amazon test references to see what's wrong.

Awaiting news from you.

Hello,

I used my Amazon account references, create a new Amazon Checkout payment Method and succeed to reach the Amazon payment gateway.
From what I can see, now everything works well, just ONE button in your Cart module and at the end of your Checkout process.
And a new pop up is opened and able your customer to log in and pay.

If something with your Amazon Account references doesn't work maybe there is something wrong in your Amazon Account settings ?...

Regards

When I enter my merchant ID the Amazon button disappears. If I leave merchant ID blank the button reappears, but has no pop-up link associated with it. If I enter a "wrong merchant ID" the button appears, and the button has a link, but obviously the link doesn't work. Weird stuff.

Are these where I find merchant ID, aws access key id, and secret access key? See attached Capture 1 and Capture 2. The seller ID and merchant id are identical.

I've left my "seller id" entered on the backend and removed the access key id and secret access key for you to checkout. The buttons do not generate.

Quite strange... I think about one things, maybe in your merchand id there is some special character that breaks the code ?...
Something like " %/""@| "... or else can in special condition unable the process to do his task.

Can you provide us your references, I mean ALL and so I can't process a test on your website ?
Maybe I will be able to understand what happen with your references...

Awaiting news from you.

From Amazon:

"
Thanks for providing that link. The Amazon Payments plug-in that is available within that link is for our other product called Checkout by Amazon - my apologies as I was unable to find references that Hikashop supported this product as well. Unfortunately, we no longer offer new merchant registrations for Checkout by Amazon as we are about to discontinue this product on April 2017.

Merchants that are already registered for Checkout by Amazon can still use the service, so if you are entering a different merchant ID, those are probably for a Checkout By Amazon account.

You might want to check with Hikashop if they have an updated plug-in specifically for Login and Pay with Amazon, but we currently don't have them in our list of supported solution providers.
"

So the plug-in is for "Checkout by Amazon" and Amazon will let people who were already registered use it until April 2017, but newly registered people like me are SOL. Amazon currently is pushing (their 3rd new payment service) "Login and Pay with Amazon".

Does Hikashop support this?
