Paypal adding ales tax for New Jersey

I don't have sales tax setup on my site. For some reason, when someone from New Jersey made a purchase on my site they were charged sales tax from paypal. This resulted in conflicting payment totals which resulted in this message:

A Paypal notification was refused because the amount received (35.26USD) is different from the order amount (32.95USD)

This notification was for the order E1J00 on the website www.ticktocknaturals.com/

I've seen a few forums with this message as the topic, but the conditions don't quite seem the same as mine. I have tried turning off "send details of the order" because that was a fix for many people with this message, but I am not sure if it will help under the conditions of my problem.

Is there a particular fix for this in my case? Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. That was indeed the issue.

It turns out that the site does need to collect tax from only New Jersey. Is there a way to let hikashop know that this tax is going to be collected on paypal or should the sales tax be configured in hikashop? There are often slight tax differences between zip codes and I wouldn't necessairly want to setup each one for the whole state.

If the sales tax is configured on hikashop with the way paypal is currently setup, would it now add tax upon tax? (basically, would I then need to delete tax collection from paypal?)
