Taking payment through backend

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.2

Hello,
I know you can create an order and select a customer details under the orders section of Hikashop. But is there also a way to to do this then choose a payment gateway and take the card details over the phone? If not is there another way you would recommend to do this? Possiblly and extension or plugin? We are using Sagepay as the gateway.

Hi,

There is no payment possible from the backend.
You could do that from the frontend maybe, using the normal checkout processus ?

Okay, would the verified by visa cause an issue when doing payments through the front end of the site?

Hi,

I don't know what "verified by visa" mean for you.
But if a customer can perform a payment in the front-end ; you also can.

I understand that, but verified by Visa is an extra security which Visa put in place which requires the user to fill in there password and is something only the owner of the card can actually fill in.

Is this something that would be an issue though?

Hi,

Why would it be a problem on the frontend and not on the backend ?
Were we to add that capability in the backend, you would have the same payment form and thus, if you have verified by visa for the frontend, you would also have it in the backend. So it wouldn't change the situation.
If it requires the customer to give you a code, simply ask him over the phone while you do the payment for him.
