Hi,is it posible to clone a payment module so it can be assign to different companys.I am asking this becasue i want to have different companies to be billed but from the same bank.Or for example i want to use the paypal express but with 2 different accounts depending on the product someone choose.I know that with restrictions we can do the trick to assign payments but use same payment modules with different data is it possible?

Hello,

The solution will be to directly create and configure 2 different payment instances of your payment module, and use ACL(Available through the business version) to directly restrict that payment method to a defined user group.

but with this way i will have to go and change the group member by hand when someone registers and then to process the payment. This is not an automated procedure.I can separate the payment available based in weight or dimensions easier and this make the procedure more automatic. So the creator of the module has to create 2 instances of the payment modules with 2 different names and hikashop will show the as different payments.

In that case the solution will be to restrict 2 shipping methods based on your order weight/dimensions, and then restrict your payment methods on these shipping methods.
