-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.birki.com.ph
-- HikaShop version -- : Business

It was all working well until today, Finish button is not working and stay in the same page.
I've read previous posts about this issue but since we haven't make any change to javascript it's hard for me to follow the reason.

** redirection to PayPal is working fine. other payment methods (like stripe and a custom one are not redirecting).

Please help,

Thank you.

Hi,

So what happened yesterday on your website ? You installed something, you changed something ?
If PayPal is still working, then the problem is not with HikaShop itself, especially since I see that you're still using HikaShop 2.6.4 which is really stable.

I would recommend to first try with the default template of Joomla activated, so that you can see error messages.
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/6...tibility-issues.html
It should tell you why stripe doesn't work.
For the other one, I can't say. It's not a plugin we developed.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

1. I paid attention that if I go to unpaid orders as a user and try to pay with stripe it's redirecting to the payment with no problem.
2. Changing the template did make the trick and it did work but how can I solve this issue? it suddenly appeared.

I did not install anything new.

Many thanks.

Hi,

It's not possible that the problem suddenly appeared. Something must have changed somehow.
Try renaming the folder templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/checkout via FTP.
That will deactivate all the overrides of the checkout in your template.

Hi,

under this location I only have "product" folder and no checkout.
I also checked other websites with the same configuration and also there is no "checkout" folder.
in the other websites with the same template it is working fine.

Shell I share the checkout screenshot?

Please advice,

Thank you very much

Hello,

To be sure to understand well the situation, when you switch to Protostar it solve your issue, right ?

"2. Changing the template did make the trick and it did work but how can I solve this issue?"

I'm afraid that the root issue is from your template, maybe a distant library that change or is now deprecated ?... Can't be sure of it, but it seems that you have to contact your template creator to get clues and we hope solve your issue.
One thing you can try is to open your browser javascript console before clicking on the finish button. You might get an error message caused by a javascript issue on the page which might explain why it doesn't work and that error message should provide more insight on what's going on and why.

Regards

yes, when I switch to protostar it's working.
I tried to debug with enabling the Joomla debug message, when I do that it's working again and I cannot reproduce the problem.
However, there are many red comments showing as errors, I'm not sure how to handle it, they call it database duplication.
Please see attached.

Thank you

Hi,

I have found out the problem was not in the template exactly but in one of the SEO plugins, JCH.
It is creating one file from all the JS files and keeps it all in cache.
Once I cleared that cache it was all working again.

Thank you.
