The Hikashop Amazon paiement method doesn't show on checkout

Hi, I configured Amazon paiement method with Access Key ID and Secret access Key and enabled it but it won't show on checkout. Have an explanation?

Hi,

The Amazon API only supports USD so the payment method won't appear on your checkout if you're using another currency on your website.
The Amazon Checkout API as well only supports USD.

We're actually working on a new payment plugin for Pay with Amazon which will support EUR as well.

I would like to use a Card payment method in euros other than Paypal. Is there one in the Hikashop method which is fitting? Do you know about Stripe?
When aproximatively this Amazon method in euro will be available?

Hi,

Most of the payment plugins in HikaShop and their payment gateways supports the EUR.
When you go in the menu System>Payment methods and clicks on the "new" button, you'll see a list of all the payment plugins for HikaShop on your website. On that listing, you'll have a column for each currency enabled in System>Currencies and it will tell you if the payment method supports that currency or not.
Stripe is available although not installed by default with HikaShop : www.hikashop.com/support/support/documentation/251

I don't know when that payment plugin will be available. In 1 month hopefully. We're working on it.

Where can I get a copy of this plugin? Even if its still in beta I would love a copy of the new amazon payment plugin, since checkout is depreciated.

It is my understanding that the plugin for Checkout with Amazon is depreciated and the new plugin for Amazon Pay is different. Am I wrong? Does the plugin found here: www.hikashop.com/support/support/documentation/332 work with amazon pay?

is different, so I thought maybe there was a new version out that some people were allowed to play with, is there?
