PayPal Check Out

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No Error

When we check out on the site it directs me to PayPal but there is NO pay with credit or debit card button only the Paypal log in. I am checking with PayPal but I want to be sure it is not an issue in Hika Shop. Do we now have to use PayPal Pro or is PayPal Standard business account still ok? This is an ASAP need so I can get this working. Thanks

Hello,

That screen is only related to Paypal and how they manage the cookies/users.
There is nothing a plugin can do for that part.

Afterwards, if you really want to only propose credit card and not paypal account ; you can see to use "paypal pro" but it require special Paypal account.
I recommend you to contact Paypal in order to have more details about their services.

Hello,

We have a Paypal Pro account and we tried to enable " HikaShop PayPal Pro "payment plugin :
when a credit card is entered the payment won't proceed and we get this error message :

Error 10565: The merchant country is not supported.


I also tried to enable "HikaShop Paypal payment plugin" but this plugin generate this message :

Le système ne fonctionne pas pour le moment. Réessayez plus tard.


Would you please help and tell if more reliable payment method could be used with HikaShop Business 3.0.1 ?

I contacted Paypal today regarding these issues, they suggested to go with BrainTree ( it is a new Paypal partnership )
Are you aware about BrainTree payment methode ?
Is it compatible with HikaShop Business 3.0.1

Hello,

That message is related to Paypal Pro and not to HikaShop.

So the problem is not with our PayPal Pro plugin.

Regarding Braintree, there is payment plugin available for it:
