Hi,

I'm using the standard "HikaShop Paypal payment plugin"

When I enter a UK address, I can pay direct with a credit/dbit card. When I entered a Slovak address Paypal switches languages and won't accept a credit/dbit card without logging into Paypal.

We have contacted Paypal but they say everything is fine at their end?

Hope you can help.

Regards,
Colin.

Hi,

Unfortunately, PayPal does not allow direct credit card payments in all cases. Sometimes it is because of your location, or sometimes PayPal might believe by checking your browser's cookies that you actually own a PayPal account. You might try deleting your cookies to get around this. Or it could come from the email address being used.
In some countries and regions, PayPal requires that customers pay by using a PayPal account.
Also, there is a setting to check in your PayPal merchant account to activate the payments without a PayPal account:
developer.paypal.com/docs/integration/di...nts/guest-payments/#
So I can't say much more. There is nothing you can do for these in HikaShop. I would normally direct you to the PayPal merchant support, but since you're coming from them, they don't seem helpful :/

Thanks Nicolas. Having a real struggle with this. I've raised a ticket with PayPal, not sure what will come of it though.

Colin.
