Stripe payment failure - Hikashop still says successful

Hi

i have paid for and implemented the Stripe payment connector.
it works fine when the correct payment information is entered.

However, if i enter a card, with the incorrect Expiry Date or Incorrect CVC
the card is accepted WITHOUT any error message - indicating an error with the card.

More importantly - if i click finish - it than takes me to the end state. Shows my thankyou message and NOTHING happens.

Payment is not processed on stripe (as it should be) - i can see Incomplete message on Stripe.

However, there is NOTHING in the way of feedback be provided to the end customer to know that their order will not go through. No order is created - but customer thinks it has been - because they got an thank you message.

I added Status to the Cart Flow - but this just shows pickup and payment provider,

help, what i have i done wrong.

Please provide details regarding your Stripe V3 plugin settings.
Depending the modes, the HikaShop checkout workflow will be affected.

Hello,

Please try the payment mode "end" which provides the payment form at the end of the checkout process.
We will perform further analysis on the Stripe error handling in the "checkout" ; errors which should be send back to HikaShop.

yes that works - a couple of notes that might help

1. when i entered the wrong CVC - it gave me a message - transaction declined - which is expected and reasonable

this is the error you get on Stripe
Payment attempt with Visa •••• 1252 was declined
The bank returned the decline code do_not_honor, and did not provide any other information. We recommend that your customer contact their card issuer, Cuscal Limited, for more information, or use another payment method. Learn more about declines


2. when i entered the incorrect Expiry Date - it gave me an error message - it looks like your card does not support this type of transaction - which is not the correct error for the wrong expiry

This is the error you get on Stripe

3. Could you make the card declined error message more obvious - say in red
