eWay Payment stuck in loop

-- Joomla version -- : 4.4.5
-- PHP version -- : 8.1.28

All orders etc proceeding as should and emails going where they should
We head to test flight

Login and make the required changes from Sandbox mode to live.
Entered the live API and password
Cleared all test orders

New browser, no cache, no cookies.
Placed order
Click Finish

Test flight crashed :S

Stuck in a loop going nowhere.
No order placed in system
No errors in logfile

Try another browser with private window
No difference

Ideas?

Hi,

Please try to revert to the sandbox credentials. Does it still work fine ?
If so, it would indicate a problem with the plugin or the live merchant account credentials. In that case, I would recommend you to check with the eway support that your live account is properly activated.
If no, then it would indicate that the problem is actually not with the eway plugin but with something else you've configured between the last time it worked and now. In that case, I would recommend trying to reproduce with the default template of Joomla. This might help in getting an error message displayed, explaining what the problem is.

As to why I have no resolution :blink:

Went Cassiopeia and it worked.
Reverted to the Gantry template and that worked.

Why who knows ... it just did
